It’s 11 days ’til Cincy and we’ve got Angelique Kerber’s uber intense backhand and those fantabulous legs we’re always raving about. Photographing Angie is always exciting; she puts so much into every shot that there is plenty of action in every frame.

This was a tough match for Kerber, a 3rd round battle with Caroline Wozniacki. These two can get into some pretty epic rallies, and it usually boils down to Angie’s power vs. Caro’s fleet feet. As you’ll see here, Angie got plenty of awesome shots going–but the scampering shoes won this time around, with Caro taking the match at 7-5, 6-2.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This would have been the perfect photo if Mr. Cameraman hadn’t decided to get close enough to make it a threesome. Doesn’t that thing have zoom capability?
