Eugenie Bouchard: Cincinnati Day 2, Practice Pics (HD)
Eugenie Bouchard, the up-and-coming teenager from Canada, had a nice run at Cincinnati this year. Dispatching Medina Garrigues, Dolonc, and Puig with relative ease, she finally fell to World Number 1 Serena Williams–but not without taking a set off the champion player first. Genie is definitely one to watch, sure to move up the rankings from her current spot just outside the Top 50.
Here are some photos from her Sunday practice session with Roberta Vinci, where she demonstrated her aggressive playing style. There is a lot of oomph in her shots, full swings of those long limbs with a lot of forward trajectory. It’s fun to watch.
For all our readers (and J.D.) who grudgingly endure the shirtless dude posts, there’s a lot of gorgeous Genie here for you to enjoy. *Click* or ZOOM the pics for the LARGE versions and the full effect.
Some shots of the backhand…
With these two photos of the backhand set-up, I can totally picture her about to hit a softball really hard with her bat…
Pretty Genie, with a healthy layer of sunscreen on, not unlike Stan the Man’s warpaint.
And one last great tennis pose, that would also be a great softball/baseball pose. 🙂
