PopSockle Rocks! Vasek Pospisil and Jack Sock Beat the Bryan Brothers for Wimbledon Doubles Title 2014
Jack Sock and Vasek Pospisil had a dream run at Wimbledon this year, taking out the Bryan Brothers 7-6(5), 6-7(3), 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 in a battle of a final–with what can only be described as 50% power and skill and 50% sheer boyish enthusiasm.
They aced and volleyed and cranked returns and leapt for smashes and grinned incessantly on their way to victory, entertaining the crowd and themselves at the same time.
Sock: “Our road here was pretty crazy, playing Bopanna-Qureshi, Peya-Soares, Paes-Stepanek, and then the Bryans” (That is pretty crazy)

It was a heck of a journey for these two, and their celebration after a well-deserved win was a charming combination of overwhelmed awe and elation. Here’s a sampling of the uber cuteness of Wimbledon’s #MeriCanada collaboration:
Vasek appeared to be teasing his doubles buddy Jack about the fangirly screams he got for his shirt change…
“Popsicle” decided to hold off changing his shirt until the fanfare for Sock died down, so he could get his own exclusive cheering from the crowd–which he did. And it pleased him mightily.
PopSockle (or PopSock or PospiSock) were presented their trophies in the royal box.
They were giddy with happiness, and we couldn’t help but grin like lunatics with them. Congrats guys!!!
